Sitting on a bare kayak floor gets old by the second hour. The NIXY Inflatable Kayak Seat lifts you off the deck on 4-inch drop stitch, the same rigid air core we build our boards and kayaks around. Inflate it and it holds its shape like a solid seat. Deflate it and it packs flat into the bag your kayak already lives in.

Firm support, not squishy foam

Drop stitch is what makes an inflatable feel solid. Thousands of internal threads hold the top and bottom panels a fixed 4 inches apart, so the seat stays firm under your weight instead of bottoming out on the hull. You sit higher, you stay drier, and your hips sit in a better position for a longer, cleaner stroke.

Full size seat and backrest

The base measures 17" x 17", a full-width cushion rather than a narrow pad. The backrest runs 17" wide by 16" high and carries the same 4-inch drop stitch, so support stays consistent from your hips to your shoulder blades. Pressure is yours to set. Run it firm for a rigid platform, or softer for a little give.

Packs down to nothing

3 lbs, and flat once the air is out. It rolls up with the kayak, drops into a backpack, and adds almost nothing to what you carry down to the water.

Gray drop stitch PVC

Single-layer drop stitch PVC in gray. It wipes clean, takes spray and sun without fuss, and a fresh water rinse at the end of the day is all the care it asks for.
