The tall 10 inch profile gives the deepest tracking in the NIXY fin lineup, so the board holds its line with fewer corrective strokes. Stiff nylon construction holds shape under load, which is what turns paddle effort into glide.

Yes if your board has a US fin box. That covers the full NIXY G5 lineup (Newport, Venice, Huntington, Monterey, Manhattan, Malibu) and most major SUPs. Screw and plate included. Use it only on water deep enough to accommodate a 10 inch fin without scraping bottom.

Shape and depth. The 9.5 inch race fin has a race-tuned profile (wider base, more rake) for response and turn-in. The 10 inch is taller and uses a touring profile built purely for straight-line tracking. The 10 inch turns slower but tracks better. Choose the 9.5 for racing in chop, the 10 for distance touring on calm water.

Slide the fin tab into the US fin box, drop in the included screw and plate, finger-tighten. Tool-less on most installs. Pack the fin flat when traveling so the tall profile does not get bent against other gear.

Skip it in shallow water, rivers, or weed-prone lakes where a tall fin scrapes bottom or catches plants. Step down to a 9 or 9.5 inch race fin if you want more turn response.
