The NIXY 3-Piece Adjustable SUP Pro Paddle is a bamboo carbon fiber paddle. Both the shaft and blade use 100% carbon fiber. A bamboo veneer accents the blade, while a reinforced ABS edge protects it. It adjusts from 175 cm to 215 cm, so you can set it to your height and paddling style. You can also choose from three blade sizes.

Which Blade Size Should You Choose?

Match the blade on your bamboo carbon fiber paddle to your weight for stroke efficiency:

  • 86 Small: for paddlers under 145 lb, 86 sq in blade, about 24 oz (680 g)
  • 88 Standard: for paddlers 140 lb to 190 lb, 88 sq in blade, about 27 oz (765 g)
  • 94 Large: for paddlers 185 lb and up, 94 sq in blade, about 25 oz (708 g)

What Makes This Bamboo Carbon Fiber Paddle Durable?

The shaft and blade both use 100% carbon fiber for strength. In addition, the ABS edge reinforcement protects the blade from impact damage. The bamboo veneer bonds to the carbon blade, so it adds style without compromising structure. Meanwhile, the locking anti-twist clamp keeps the shaft length locked during your session.

How Is It Different From the Regular 3K Carbon Fiber Pro Paddle?

Both are 100% carbon fiber 3-piece paddles. However, this version adds a bamboo veneer to the blade for a more refined look. That veneer adds a little weight. The bamboo version runs 24 to 27 oz, versus 20.5 to 22 oz for the regular 3K carbon paddle. So if weight is not critical, choose by the look you prefer.

How to Care for Your Bamboo Carbon Fiber Paddle

Rinse it with fresh water after saltwater or pool use. Then store it in a dry place out of direct sun. The bamboo veneer has a seal, but don't soak it or leave it in standing water for long periods. Also, avoid hard impacts to the blade edge.
