Nazca Terry Poncho: Striped 440 GSM Turkish Cotton Changing Poncho
Hand-drawn black stripes running the full length of a cream Turkish terry ground. The Nazca is the patterned half of NIXY's adult poncho pair, built on the same 440 gsm terry as the Inca, with an attached hood, short sleeves, and a front pocket.
The stripes are not printed. They are woven into the terry, which is why they have soft, irregular edges instead of hard machine lines, and why they will not crack or fade off the surface after a season of salt water.
Turkish Terry at 440 GSM
Turkish cotton is spun from long fibers, which is what gives it a smooth hand, real strength, and the ability to release water quickly instead of holding it. At 440 gsm the Nazca has enough body to pull water off your skin in one pass while staying light enough to fold into a bag without becoming a wet brick.
Like every Turkish cotton piece we make, it softens with each wash rather than wearing out.
Room to Change, Anywhere
The relaxed one-size cut gives you space to get out of a wet swimsuit or a wetsuit without taking the poncho off. Side slits at the hem let you move. No balancing a towel with one hand, no walk across a parking lot looking for somewhere to change.
