What is the NIXY 3K Carbon Fiber Kayak Blade?

The 3K Carbon Fiber Kayak Blade is an attachment that converts NIXY's Carbon Fiber Pro SUP paddles into kayak paddles. Made from 100% 3K carbon fiber, it's lightweight (13 to 14 oz depending on size), strong, and designed to match the performance of the carbon Pro paddle line.
Which NIXY paddles does this kayak blade work with?

This blade is designed for NIXY Carbon Fiber Pro SUP paddles (3K Carbon, 12K Carbon, 3K Color Carbon, and 3K + Bamboo). It is NOT compatible with the G4 Hybrid paddle, which uses the separate G4 Kayak Blade attachment.
What sizes does the 3K Carbon Kayak Blade come in?

Two blade sizes: 88 sq in (13 oz) for paddlers between 140 lb and 190 lb, and 94 sq in (14 oz) for paddlers 185 lb and up. Match the kayak blade to your existing SUP paddle's blade size for consistent feel between SUP and kayak modes.
How is this different from the Bamboo version?

Both are 100% carbon fiber with identical fit and performance. The 3K Carbon Kayak Blade ($99) has a classic carbon finish. The 3K Carbon + Bamboo version ($99) adds a bamboo veneer for refined natural style. Bamboo version is slightly heavier (15 to 16 oz vs 13 to 14 oz).
How does the conversion work?

Detach the SUP blade from your Carbon Fiber Pro paddle shaft, then attach the kayak blade. The easy convert system is tool-free. Once attached, you have a full kayak paddle ready for use on the NIXY Tahoe kayak or any compatible inflatable kayak.
When should I use the kayak blade?

When paddling a kayak (sitting position), or when sitting on your SUP for fishing or relaxing. The kayak blade is optimized for seated paddling, distributing effort evenly across the upper body and reducing fatigue over long distances.
