Good to know

Very shallow water and river paddling, where a tall fin would scrape bottom or catch on the riverbed. The short 4.6 inch profile clears rocks and weeds, the flex layup forgives impact, and the looser tracking that comes with a shorter fin makes tight river turns and pivots easier. Trade off: more corrective strokes to hold a straight line on open water.

Yes if your board has a US fin box. That covers the full NIXY G5 lineup and most major SUPs. Screw and plate included. Available in yellow or black to match the board.

Both are shallow-water fins, but the 6.5 inch TPU is taller and built with a modern thermoplastic polyurethane layup, while the 4.6 inch flex is shorter and uses an older flex composite. Pick the 4.6 for very shallow rivers and tight turns. Pick the 6.5 TPU for shallow water that still has some depth and where tracking matters.

Slide the fin tab into the US fin box, drop in the included screw and plate, finger-tighten. Tool-less on most installs. The flex layup is forgiving on threads, so do not overtighten.
