86 sq in fits paddlers under 145 lb. 88 sq in fits paddlers between 140 lb and 190 lb. 94 sq in fits paddlers 185 lb and up. Match your weight to the blade for stroke efficiency. The bamboo veneer adds slight weight: 24 oz (86), 27 oz (88), 25 oz (94).
How is this different from the regular 3K Carbon Fiber Pro paddle?

Both are 100% carbon fiber 3-piece paddles at $189. The Bamboo version adds a bamboo veneer to the blade for refined style. Slight weight penalty: the Bamboo blade is 24 to 27 oz vs 20.5 to 22 oz for the regular 3K Carbon. Choose by visual preference if weight is not critical.
